Scientific research institute of Applied information technologies is founded on October, 21st, 1999. The institute is part of The Cybernetic Centre of The Ukrainian Academy of Sciences.

The quantity of employees of institute in 2008 has made 168 persons.

The institute has wide experience of work on accumulation of great volumes of data and their analysis, own development of software for support of document circulation, control systems, complex protection of the information and are solved with a wide spectrum of problems.
